A new generation of Microalloys was introduced in the year 2001 for Direct Reduction Reformer tubes with excellent performance regarding creep properties. Tube elongation ist drastically reduces while tube life will be extended because of increased creep rupture strength.
The new Centralloy® 60 HTD was also developed in order to increase maximum operating temperatures to 1200 ºC and is proving very successful.
